Gabriel Michael is an independent musician - guitarist, singer, songwriter, and founding member of the band Funk-UH-Fried. His solo performances inlcude a mix of americana, acoustic rock, blues, funk, and soul, accompanied by acoustic guitar, electric guitar, a looper pedal, and a melodica.

Gabriel works as musical director for the annual Gone Country musical production at the Memorial Auditorium for the Performing Arts in Worthington, Minnesota. His duties include hiring a top-notch band including multiple members of the South Dakota and Iowa Rock nā€™ Roll Hall of Fame, coordinating with singers and other performers, and curating a setlist that showcases the timeless character of the genre, seamlessly blending classic country with modern pop country hits.

Gabriel lived in Ecuador for ten years, returning to the United States around 2019. In 2022 he and his wife welcomed their first child into the world. He works hard to make music his primary source of income, happily spending the rest of his time with his family.
